VICARIATE OF THE ORIENT FORMS CONVENTO DE STO. NIÑO DE BASECO
The Order of St. Augustine - Vicariate of the Orient has officially formed a new convent community in BASECO.
This was confirmed by the letter of the Regional Vicar, Rev. Fr. Peter Casiño Acevedo, OSA as noted by the Vicarial Secretary, Rev. Fr. Roy Gallano Lim, OSA.
Rev. Fr. Joseph Villareal Paler, OSA, the Parochial Vicar, was installed as the Local Prior with Rev. Fr. Faith Ponce Sotomayor, OSA and Rev. Fr. Juanito Caspe Baleña Jr., OSA as members.
The appointment letter issued on this first of July goes this way:

This official letter is to inform you that the Regional Vicar of the Vicariate of the Orient, in the Vicarial Council Meeting... and as approved by the Prior General, Rev. Fr. Alejandro Moral Anton... has proceeded to form the religious house of Convento de Sto. Niño de Baseco.
The brothers who are assigned the aforementioned community and are appointed to their offices are the following: Fray Joseph Villareal Paler as the Prior, Fray Faith Ponce Sotomayor as the Procurator and Sacristan amd Fray Juanito Caspe Baleña, Jr. as Pastoral Coordinator.
